WHERE/WHEN IS KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE FY24?

 

KOTRT FY24 will take place in Montego Bay, Jamaica from February 27th – March 2nd 2025.

CAN I BRING MY FAMILY TO KOTRT?

 

Knight's of the Round Table trip is intended to be a celebration for the winner and their guest who must be 21 years of age or older. We recognize that sometimes life doesn’t make it easy to get away, however, children are not allowed at this event.
 

IF I CHOOSE NOT TO ATTEND THE EVENT, WILL I GET EQUAL CASH AND GIFTS?

 

No, if you are awarded the KOTRT trip and choose not to attend or cannot attend, there will be no other gifts or prizes as an alternative. 

 

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY? WILL THE TRIP BE CANCELED?

 

We will do our best to ensure that the KOTRT trip goes ahead without a hitch, but sometimes mother nature has other plans. We will be keeping a close eye on the weather, health concerns, and other global circumstances that might impact the trip, as we get closer to the travel dates. It is difficult to make adjustments to a large group trip like this, but our team of professionals have a lot of experience in this space and will do what they can to accommodate. 

 

HOW IS MY ATTAINMENT MEASURED IF I CHANGE POSITIONS DURING THE YEAR?

If you change positions mid-year, we will consider performance in both roles once the financial year is closed and the final numbers have been calculated.

THIS IS MY FIRST TIME ATTENDING KOTRT, WHAT IS INCLUDED?

 

The following is covered:

• Economy fare flight for the Knight Watch invitee and (1) guest

• Transportation for the Knight Watch invitee and their (1) guest, to/from the MBJ airport/hotel in Jamaica

• 1 standard room for the nights of February 27th, 28th and March 1st

• Food and drinks during sponsored events/activities

• All-inclusive food and drink at Hilton Rose Hall (does not include on own food or beverage upgrades)

DO I NEED TO USE VACATION TIME IF I ATTEND KOTRT?

 

No, the dates of the trip - February 27th and 28th are considered regular work days and you do not have to use paid time off. However, if you choose to extend your trip before or after KOTRT dates, those days would be considered personal and you would need to use paid time off for those days.

WHERE IS THE MAIN AIRPORT LOCATED?

 

​Sangster International Airport (MBJ) is in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It is approximately a 15-minute drive from this airport to Hilton Rose Hall.

DO I NEED A CAR TO GET AROUND JAMAICA?

 

We do not recommend that you rent a car. If you chose to do so (at your own expense) please ensure that you have adequate insurance coverage. You can get around Jamaica by taxi.

IF I EXTEND MY TRIP DATES, WILL I STILL GET THE GROUP RATES AT THE RESORT?

 

​If you wish to extend your stay pre or post-KOTRT dates, please inform us prior to booking your flights and we will check hotel availability and confirm the nightly rate. Responsibility for payment of these extensions will be paid by the Knight Watch invitee. 

DO I NEED TO ATTEND KOTRT COORDINATED EVENTS?

 

You are expected to attend all coordinated events during the Knights of the Round Table Trip. We have scheduled some free / “at leisure” time so you can enjoy off-property activities or simply enjoy the beautiful resort!

 

CAN I BRING ADDITIONAL GUESTS IF I PAY FOR THEM AT MY OWN EXPENSE?

 

No, each traveler is only able to bring one guest.

CAN I BRING ANOTHER KNIGHT WATCH EMPLOYEE AS MY GUEST?

 

Knight Watch employees not qualified for the trip are not allowed to attend KOTRT unless they are a significant other of the Knight Watch award winner.

CAN MY GUEST AND I CHOOSE NOT TO SHARE A ROOM?

​

Yes, you may choose to not share a room with your guest however you will be responsible for paying the additional guest room rate. KOTRT only covers the cost of one hotel per night during the trip. Any request for additional rooms needs to be requested ahead of time for availability and booking.

WHAT AM I ALLOWED TO EXPENSE WHEN I GET HOME?

The only items you can expense are the following:

• Airport parking or Uber/taxi/shuttle at home airport for the KOTRT dates of February 27th through March 2nd in accordance with normal travel policy

• (1) checked bag each for you and your guest.

• Food and beverage outside of the resort on travel dates of February 27th and March 2nd
